If you are interested in meeting a particular cat, please email us to verify that he or she is still available for adoption and present at the shelter. Many of our cats are in foster homes, so please email us to let us know who you want to meet and when, so that we can arrange to bring them to an adoption event.

I'm a beautiful Siamese/Himalayan mix with gorgeous blue eyes. I tend to be a bit shy, but I am very sweet and loving. I like to talk and have a raspy meow. I will sit with you and give head butts while I purr and purr. I love being brushed and have a lot of fun playing with toy mice.
I need a quiet household and a home full of patience and kindess. I want to get over my shyness and find a home where I feel safe and secure. I would do best as your one and only.

I am a beautiful medium haired Tortie. I am shy at first meeting and need time to get used to new situations. I gave birth to a litter of kittens and was disparately given up with two other Mommys who had litters roughly about the same time. Between the three Mommys we had 14 children. All 17 of us were given up with a poor chance of finding homes. But a wonderful lady from Montgomery Village Vet Clinic took all of us in! The fine folks from AWLMC took in several of us from her and we are all looking for our forever homes. I am very easy to handle and enjoy being held and loved.
I'm a lovebug. I want attention and I give it right back to you. Watch out for strong head butts! I also love to talk and am more than happy to have a conversation with you any time you like. I love mouse toys and the shelter volunteers suspect that I'm a "nipper" too. I do seem to enjoy the cat nip scratch boards! I also LOVE to drink out of the faucet! I came from a loving family, but allergies made it impossible for my past owners to keep me. When I was very young I developed a tumor under my left eye. It was benign, but my eye had to be removed. I do just fine with my right eye and am in excellent health.
I was adopted from AWLMC as a kitten. My family is going through some difficult times and felt they no longer could care for me properly. I am a brown tabby with green eyes. I love food and really need to lose a few pounds. It's always a battle! It takes me awhile to warm up to new people. Give me some time and I will become your best friend. Please take me home.
