Dear potential donor,
By donating to our organization, you will be saving the lives of
cats and kittens. It is that simple. The AWLMC is staffed 100% by
volunteers. The AWLMC is a registered 501(c) 3 so your donation
is tax deductible. We are an organized team comprised of highly
motivated individuals focused on a variety of important activities
in support of our mission. We are persuing a number of fundraising
events and are also seeking direct financial contributions.
Funding is also needed for our newly opened no-kill animal shelter
in Montgomery County. We have been collecting money from donors and
our volunteers, but we need more financial contributions. We also
need ongoing funding to pay our vet expenses, litter and food, etc.
Each cat or kitten we adopt out is healthy and current on vaccinations. All cats over six months of age are spayed or neutered.
We plan in the next few months to begin
a low age spay/neuter program so that all of our kittens are altered
prior to adoption. Dedicated members of our team have created a
vet program that screens and recruits vets who offer high quality
sevices and give us preferred pricing. Even with these arrangements,
vet costs are a significant part of our operating budget.
If you can, please donate today. Thank you from all of the cats and
kittens whose lives we touch.
Thank you,
Board of Directors
AWLMC
