Happy Endings

Caruso
Caruso has made amazing progress during this past month. He's accustomed now to being picked up and runs to the door not only for us but also for visitors. He lets everyone pat and play with him. He even allowed the window replacement man to pick him up and participated in the measuring of windows! He eagerly awaits canned food arriving from Bark and Pawlitics; talks through the windows at squirrels, birds, and chipmunks in our yard; lounges in the cat napper; and plays like a kitten. He's always busy and follows us from room to room so he doesn't miss anything. He slept curled up next to me twice last week, although he generally prowls the house at night. As I'm sure you know, he's very inquisitive, even by cat standards, and he likes to be included in everything. We are so happy to have Caruso with us and are thrilled that he's happy and confident here.

Dandi
Dandi is doing wonderful and is a great addition to our household. We have renamed her "Mandy" as all our kids have "M" names. We recently lost our pet dog to old age and Mandy really fills the void that was left after our dog passed

Dray
My husband and I can't tell you how blessed we are to have Dray. We fell in love with him immediately and he has brought so much joy into our lives. He and Daphne are getting along well and we couldn't have asked for more precious babies. We call them our Babies! Dray has adjusted beautifully and we know that has to do with how much we pamper him! He truly is the most affectionate, loving, cuddly little boy ever, and he's grown into quite a handsome one too! He is super happy and super loved. Everyone that meets him, absolutely adores him!

Anabel & Portia
We've decided to keep their names after much debate about changing them. Since we didn't have names picked out when we brought them home, we started calling them Anabel (we did drop the Lee) and Portia and the names just stuck! When we were thinking of other names, nothing else seemed to fit!

They're settling in - they're very playful now that they're comfortable in the house. Their favorite places to sleep are on our bed and on the sofa. We wake up every morning to them either wrestling on the bed or swatting our feet! They are so much fun!! I already can't imagine the house without them. :o)

Cookie & Teto
We love Cookie and Teto so much. They are the biggest joy in our life!

Wicket
Here is a picture of Wicket. I couldn't get any of him playing because I was the one playing with him :-) He is a sweetheart. We tried a collar on him today, but he hated it. He looks so handsome in it; it is black with gray moons and stars on it, but he doesn't like the tag hanging from it. I took it off to try later. I think he will just need to wear it to get used to it, but I couldn't bear the thought of him being uncomfortable.

Patches (formerly Lil Bear)
I adopted Schatzie and Kitzie almost 2 years ago from another rescue group. They are just getting around to start playing with Patches, which he wants to do all the time. I just love watching the relationship develop. Tuffy, the dog, tolerates all of them, but Patches seems to like being near him more than the other two. Patches is wonderful and lovable and the LAP CAT my husband has always wanted.

Frankie
I really appreciated your concern for our...yours and mine...Frankie. Frankly, he is a wonderful person in fur! Susan and I just love him and Minou is very happy to have a friend. They are both big boys but I think Frankie tips the scales a bit more than Minou. When Frankie does come and stand or sit a while in my lap, I know I've been sat upon! Did you know he snores?! The one thing he has in common with Grace, our Border Collie. Grace likes Frankie; Frankie is holding out judgement on that big cat with the pointy black leathery nose. I know he loves us!

Tiger
Happy holidays! Here are some recent pictures of Tiger. I believe he was a contortionist in his past life…he’s such a sweet and loving cat!!!!

Sterling & Spencer
The boys are doing very well. They're actually both sleeping under my feet right now - alternated the morning between who was in my lap (Sterling tends to be more aggressive in the demanding of love) and who was sitting behind me on the chair. They've been on a diet which hasn't made any of us terribly happy but we're starting to see some results. Sterling has settled in with Alex and even curls up in bed with us when I'm getting Alex to sleep. And I'm happy to report that the reluctant husband now has a cat in his lap every evening and complains if he gets passed by one evening.
